personal goals
T he one goal i will be working on is my grades.on my report card i got a B , but i know i can do so much better i mostly get a A's .but i know i can try next time, well i really think i have improved a lot in math but what i really need to work on more on history and being more in class. what i have to try harder in this semester is using the dictionary more often because im on a college level and i need the higher level things. and what i also need to work on is more on the cahsee prep so i will be able to pass it and get my diploma. My two goals are that i need to go to school everyday and be more i to my work so i can pass all my classes, the one goal that im going to work on my daughter is sign her up for preschool, and teaching her a,b,c's..

tonga funerals
*friends and related members bring a small gift for the widow & have their own food & then leave until the actual burial.
*the household of the deceased is supposed to provide a meal to all mourners (someone that attends the funeral).
*closer families bring huge ngatu & other traditional gifts & are supposed to stay for the night vigil.
*the burial itself starts with a church service.
*number of their sermons & therefore the duration of the service is in proportion to the rank of the corpse. after the service everyone parades to the cemetary and close family members often remain for 10 days. after 10 days, female family members cut their hair out of respect.
*food is always put in baskets, woven from coconut palm fronds(a large leave).

LIFE AS AN EGYPTIAN
*they prayed every morning & tied a protective amulet around their childs arm, neck.
*usually the children were breastfed until they were 3 yrs old.
*infants were switched to solid food at age 3, & because their death rate rose up quickly as the results of stomach infections.
*very wealthy men did not breast-feed their babies themselves, they hired wet nurses.
*wet nurses were paid in goods, necklaces, combs, sandals, baskets, and cooking oil.
*wet nurses of the pharoahs child might be the wife of a general or some high offical.
*wet nurses were treated with great honor, sometimes wet nurses were kept as nannys.
*when the royal children grow up they thought of their nanys like their own brothers and sisters.
*immediately after birth a baby was named by its mother in case it died soon afterwards,& most names have referred to a god or goddess/be called after a member of the royal family.
